Dyaspora Lectures
Dyaspora Lectures, is a Dyaspora Coordinating Committee (DCC) initiative that centers the voices and visions of Black scholars, artists, and activists from across the globe. Rooted in collaboration, these lectures and cultural events are hosted in partnership with nonprofit organizations and educational institutions committed to honoring the depth and diversity of the global Black experience.
From the academy to the grassroots, from studios to stages, Dyaspora Lectures brings together thought leaders and cultural workers from across the African Diaspora to share insights, provoke inquiry, and build bridges across geographies and generations. Whether exploring historical memory, artistic resistance, ancestral knowledge, or contemporary movements for justice this initiative aims to celebrate Black brilliance and interconnection on both sides of the Atlantic and beyond.
Dyaspora Lectures offers space for intellectual nourishment, cultural affirmation, and critical exchange. These gatherings affirm that learning is not just an academic exercise—it is a communal, liberatory act.
