Projects
The DCC engages in project development from a standpoint and process that prioritizes decolonization and requires equity in collaboration. To that end, the projects that we implement require that our community partners pledge to center social justice in their work with one another.
Currently, the Dyaspora Coordinating Committee is based in Philadelphia, PA, with transnational partnerships in Jacmel, Haiti. As our pilot programs grow in sustainability and notoriety, the DCC hopes to develop similar projects and partnerships between other metro areas in North America, the Caribbean, South America, and across the Atlantic.
