DCC Supports ODBJ Flag Day Celebrations in Bassin Bleu!

In Haiti, 18 May is an important day during which the country's flag, a symbol of it hard-won independence, is celebrated far and wide. At the request of the Organizacion pour le Development de Bassin Bleu, Jacmel (ODBJ), this year DCC provided financial support for 7th annual Festival Brune.

Bassin Bleu Celebrates 18 Mai with DCC Support!

This year's celebration of Haitian Flag Day (18 Mai) by ODBJ at Bassin Bleu was celebrated from Sunday, May 15 and culminated in a parade on Wednesday, May 18.

As we continue to work of the community's irrigation project, helping our partner ODBJ offer members of the community of Bassin Bleu a space to commemorate this very important Haitian holiday was a great honor for DCC.
